Please PM Scar or Me on the Buzztime site if you wished to be approved, or send an e-mail through this site. I am no longer going through sign-ups due to the vast quantity of spammers joining the site. Scar's webhost does not appear to allow for us to upgrade to a version that blocks this in any easy fashion. I don't have time to research 100 - 200 accounts by hand every few days, so unless your name is recognizable, it probably isn't going to get approved unless you message us.

I also am not approving accounts with gibberish e-mail addresses. I don't care about fake ones (idontwantyourspam@dontmailme.com), but addresses like:

fdjkfjdsklfjdlkfjds@lat.ru
trucuduoeo@po.pl

Go into the auto-delete bin.

Just following up on this for everyone.

Again:

1) I am not approving accounts with gibberish e-mail addresses. If someone you know is entering gibberish e-mail and not getting approved, let them know that's why.
2) I am not approving accounts from IPs of known spammers
3) If you contact us, we can move speedily approve your account. We're getting more than a few dozen signups a day, the vast majority of which are spammers. I have to check them all manually when they aren't clearly junk.

I'm spending, on average, about 30 minutes a day doing this now, sometimes more. If you send to Scar or me what name you're signing up with so we know you're real, I can have you approved almost instantly.

Got a few PMs recently about people not being approved. Again, please remember if you want to easily get approved, message us, or, outside that, make sure your name is clearly not spammy looking. If it is spammy looking, make sure your e-mail is at least legit. When I see a "maybe real" account name but the e-mail is: "ofdkhfdskln@o2.lfu9" it doesn't get approved.
