The first great purge is complete. I've deleted quite a few user accounts that showed up as known spammers. If by some chance I tagged someone who was legit and they say something, let me know and I'll set 'em back up. Given none of them were from American IP addresses, I doubt it is an issue. /Going to have to talk to management about not approving Russian and Latvian IPs |

So far you guys are doing a pretty good job. Before the forum where I am a "Super Moderator" put in some additional safeguards, I & my fellow moderators were having to ban 6 to 10 spammers a day. Now it has dropped to almost zero. Keep it up! |

I'd say there's about 2 - 3 attempted spammers that sign up every day. Nevertheless, I found two sites that track spam accounts signing up for PHPBB sites worldwide on an hourly basis, and it's been pretty damned accurate. The few that did get approved I either approved without realizing it, or someone else approved. Speaking of, I must remember to donate some money to the dude's site who does that. |

Some Euro-spammer named Crackhead joined up. You need to delete him. |
