SIQ 2/13/12

I thought it was a good game last night. For the first time in a long while, I nailed the first round. I bled a few points on Sproles in the second round. As always...spelling round is my worst. Year round I did pretty good...though would have done better if I'd learn to stick with my first choice :evil:

Last round I nailed the sports stadiums, NBA draft picks, and whatever the 2nd question was. Only got 1 correct on the Olympians and question 4. Add it all up and 26th nationally...7th as a bar. Any questions trip anyone up? I was surprised with the Mariners opening spring training that there weren't any spring training questions. I guess those will start next week.

About last night's game #4 overall(perfect in 1st, only tripped up on Sproles was almost perfect on picture, 48/50 on spelling(probably my best ever), fairly well on year round, then got really tripped up on matching switching Lafrentz and Pierce's draft teams and then only getting one right on baseball one and olympics one) 176.0 not bad though. Team finished 3rd and could've finished 2nd had we all hit the NBA one.

They intended the question to be about Jeremy Guthrie, but the question read "This team recently acquired pitcher Mark Guthrie from the Baltimore Orioles:"

Thankfully I've gotten accustomed to such errors by Buzztime and can predict what they meant to ask and still get the question correct. These errors seem to occur weekly, last week they thought Ben Francisco was a pitcher. Hopefully we will never see another one as bad as "This Oakland Athletic's pitcher took offense when Alex Rodriguez walked across the mound" with "Alex Rodriguez" as Buzztime's answer.
