Congrats to RO and the rest of the Walshs krewe on the individual and location wins last night...nicely done! STATS (DJ) and I met up at BWW Riverview. Speaking of STATS...he said he's still not been granted access to Scaratings. I knew his background wouldn't come through clean! :o

First round was clean....30/30. Second round...STATS precalls Muhammed Ali and Louisville Lip...5/5 on both. Jason Heyward...I said another player...but quickly got on Heyward...4.8/5. Buster Posey got me as I was on Clayton Kershaw (thought Buster was later)...STATS salvaged some points by switching to Buster. 0/5. Terry Bradshaw and 1970 were STATS's call...5/5 on both. 24.8/30 on the round...54.8 for the game so far. Still have hope for our 200+ game!

Third round...and the BWW lag rears it's ugly head. Justin Verlander...slow on the E...4.2/5. Wisconsin...4/5. Roger Federer 5/5. Mark Teixeira 4.6/5. Miami Heat 5/5. Adrian Peterson was 3.3/5 as STATS told me it was Petersen...thanks bus driver! Prince Fielder was 4.8/5...though STATS was on CF...and I had to say no...it's NF. Minnesota Wild and Mark Webber (STATS) were 5/5. Andrew McCutchen was only 1.1/5 as the E didn't take. 96.8 on the game...so much for the 200 game.

Fourth round...1975 0/5 was on 1972...STATS salvaged some points with 1.5 on 1974. 2002 was 4/5 as I switched from 2000 to 2002...but the 2 didn't take in time. 1938 was 0/5 as STATS told me 1932  1969 is 4/5 as STATS tells me 1968 first...and right before the 5 changes to 4...he says 1969. Of course he gets a 5/5. Thanks bus driver! 1980 was 5/5...STATS gets it on Eric Heiden's 5 gold medals (thanks buddy!). 2005 was 3/5 as we were on 2008 until no Stanley Cup. 1996 was 1.5/5 as we were on 1998. 1993 was 4/5 a swe we started out on 1994. 21.5/40 for the round...118.3 for the game.

Last round....City with Summer Games? STATS is all over it...12/12. Year w/ perfect game pitcher...another STATS answer...though I think I could have gotten there...12/12. Height with famous basketball player...we switched Adrian Dantley and Rick Barry 6'5" and 6'7". 6/12. Teams with scoring average in 2011 was a big fat 0. Preakness winner with name allows us to salvage some points 12/12. 42/60 for the round...160.3 for the game.

Waiting for the rankings to come up...I say it was a brutal (challenging) game. Only question is are we on the page of shame (11-20)? Rankings come up and we sneak on the front page in the number 10 spot. Congrats to the usual suspects RO, ZIPPY, SLOTEK, SPOTES, BLJAYS, PAULIO, BUBBA, MAXWKR, MEGUMI, HEELS, and anyone else I missed.

Usual locations there as well: Walshs Bar, Hooters of Tallahassee, Mezzanine, 86th St Pub, Playmakers, Runyon's, Blue Goose, JP Shakers, Underdog, Broken Barrel, Quaker Steak, Friendly Confines, the myriad of BWWs....and anyone else I missed. Will go check out the west feed...see y'all next week!

Thank you UCFHCY. I knew it was gonna be a good night when lovely Kayla was our waitress. We were only missing Jim (Raoul) from last week's team.

My board:

Round 1) 30/30

Round 2) 28.6/30

Round 3) 45.2/30 I start making dumb mistakes like trying to spell Wisconsin Wisconson and entering V for Justin Verlander's first name.

Round 4) 30/40 Starting to lose our rhythm a bit

Round 5) 40/60 for a 173.8 total. We start 12, 12, 12, then Buzztime throws a major change-up. Getting close to NFL
preseason I skimmed over last year's won-lost records but paid no attention to points for and against. Can't even educatedly guess a team right for a 0. I should have known these horses but once again skimmed Belmont Stakes winners and spent too much time on Snow (Ruler?--no, Money?--no it's Chief!) but too late to look ahead to get correctly by elimination other than Little Current for a 4.

Matt (Zippy) leads the team and is #2 individually. Hats off to Ro and Walsh's for besting the field.

I suspect the reason he told you that 1932 was the answer was because of the second clue: "Yankees sweep Cubs". It got me too.
As always, I simply assume that the SIQ writer had no clue that two answers could fit the bill.
Unfortunately, by the time I noticed the World Cup in France clue and remembered that the Yanks also swept the Cubs in 1938, it was too late.
c' est la vie...

Yes, but you got the invisible points award of the week by pre-calling Walsh's as being the winning bar this week ^^

As usual spotes (or should I say monkey boy  )...you are correct... :D After the question was over and we took our 0...we discussed the Buzztime thought process of two answers fitting the bill...no way! :o :o :o :o :o
