For Round 4, give yourselves 5 points for the first clue, 4 points for second clue, 3 points for third clue, and 2 points for fourth clue. You get partial credit if you miss the answer by 1 or 2 years as well. For Round 5, you get 2 points for each correct answer and 2 bonus points if you get all 5 correct.

I hope that this was challenging and fun and I hope I got all of my facts right. Maybe this game will inspire others to write Sports IQ games too (I'm looking at you, Buzztime  )

Sorry, I only understand how to answer multiple choice questions. Those rounds are way too confusing. I had to quit halfway through the second round.

Nicely done. I like the idea of us Sports IQ fans writing games for each other, so I will probably give it a shot sometime soon. I'm not getting my hopes up that this will inspire Buzztime to do anything, however.

Although to be honest it has been a nice change to have my Mondays completely free for the first time in 6 years.

Also you can get your studies done faster as well, Matt.

Had a great game going this week until the last two questions in the matching round clobbered me over the head with soccer and cycling.

Round 1) 30 points
Round 2) 30 points (did anyone else get the pictures this week?)
Round 3) 44/50 - didn't get Azarenka or Blixt until 2.0 points each
Round 4) 35/40 - Got 1998 and 1963 on the second clue for 4.0 and got 2009 on the last clue for 2.0
Round 5) 46/60 - nailed first three; got stadiums for 4 and cyclists for 6

Total of 185

Was impressed by the perfect score coming out of Florida this week.
Those guys couldn't have done any better if they had written this game...

STATS (DJ) joined CANES (James) and I at JF Kicks on Saturday night for The Season. He asks me if I've been on Scaratings. I said yeah...I was on earlier. "Did you see my post?" I said nope...I can go look though. He said Forgetaboutit...and told me he wrote his own SIQ game. He asks James and I the questions noted....I'm sure he'll correct me if I misremember my score.
First round...I think I missed 4 questions...though I blame that on poor visualization skills and trying to answer too quick so we could focus on The Season. ;) 18/30.

2nd round...had to wait for him to say all the names. Think I bled a little on getting to Nolan Ryan...but since it's all our nothing :P Nailed the rest for 5's...though I had to wait til he said all of the coaches for Butler as the beer was flowing smoothly. 8-) 30/30...48/60 overall.

3rd round...and I say I'm going to do poorly as I'm not following to all the sports as closely as I should since SIQ is no more. Francona, Lynx, and Bowyer are all 5's. Frys.com Open? That's why I have STATS and HUTCH around... 0/5. Rodgers and Guatemala for 5's. Azarenka (another STATS and HUTCH question) and Barclays Center...0/5. Ibanez and Texas Tech salvage the round with 5's. Of course...that is if I can spell everything correctly...and STATS knows how well I do that (Novak Djokovic?) :D Of course...I think I could have salvaged some points if I had a visual with letters. I think I'd have gotten about 40/50 for the round...70/110 overall.

Round 4...2004...thanks for the nod to the Lightning DJ :) 5/5. Got 1979 on Flanagan...3/5. 1985...I think I started here...and went elsewhere...before coming back to 1985. 3/5. 1992...4/5. 1935 on Berwanger...4/5. 2009 was 2/5 as I think I was earlier til the Cardinals clue. 1998 on World Cup...4/5. 1963 was 0/5 as I think I was on 1969...though I didn't think STATS would use 9 again. 26/40....96/150 overall.

Round 5...NFL HOFer with position? 12/12. NCAA team with conference? After asking STATS to repeat the schools and conferences between questions, got 12/12. NASCAR driver with his number? And you lead off with Denny? You da man STATS!! :D 12/12. At this point in time...STATS lets out this sinister laugh and I know the last two rounds will be challenging. :o MLS teams with stadiums? After having him repeat the teams and stadium names a few times...I think I only got 2 of the 5 (STATS?) or was it 3? I'll stick with 2 for now...4/12. Cyclist with country? After making STATS say them a few times...I get 3...6/12. 46/60 for the round...142/210 for the game.

Nicely written game STATS. Of course, with all the discussions we've had over SIQ games...I should have known you'd throw MLS and cycling questions out there.

Sure, sure, open up old wounds for this long-suffering Flames fan

Still, I like the idea of players writing SIQ games, and I salute you STATS for the effort in writing a quite excellent and challenging game. Maybe I'll attempt to tabulate my score later

The Lightning still hasn't visited the White House... :x
