Sports IQ returns today from the abyss. It will be played at 7:30 pm ET, 4:30 PT.

Being a boring single guy, I'll give it a try.

I figure the drunks will have cleared out from watching the Daytona 500 by 6:30, so I'm planning on giving it a shot tonight. :D

(Note, this is not meant to bash anyone who is a race fan, just a little joke, folks)

I played SIQ this past Sunday. I checked my stats on the web page today and I noticed that they had the game flagged as a repeat. Did this happen to anyone else? I don't believe the game actually was a repeat as there were at least a couple questions concerning events which had happened in the past week or so.

Last night's game (feb 21st) was not a repeat. In the first round they reference Bill Haas' first PGA win which was in January.

The game also displays properly in personal stats and site stats. Unfortunately, the decimal point on the personal gameplay and site gameplay pages are still missing.

We'll wait and see if a HOF entry displays in 2-3 hours

Added by edit: nope, no sign of a HOF this week either

HOF hasn't been reconnected yet, although I'm no programmer and it may require a big teardown.

On a good note, the playership was over 4,000. We'll see if that holds next week when USA-Canada hockey isn't drawing people in.

A suspect that the cow patty that is the current Sports Trivia channel isn't making BT all too happy.

Isn't it great that there is no forum to ask them about the Hall of Fame?

I posted asking them if they're bringing it back soon in the comments section of the now completely-unrelated-to-Buzztime blog.

Yeah, the blog is vanity crap.

it isn't going to draw people to play or play more.

The random musings aren't very inciteful, funny or worthy of a revisit.

That being said, the Tweeter approach seems like it is being well used and well received.

The best place to reach them is to leave a comment in the Help section instead of the blog. I've received replies from real people not just an automated thank you within a couple of days each time

btw, I'm not sure that the US-Canada hockey game helped the numbers that much. I was forced to stop playing at the drop of the puck. After all, every tv had to be on the game, not just other eight

Thanks Mary, both for getting back to us here and to my comment in the blog.

Update - they're looking into it :) Hoping to get it us ASAP, but are looking to see if we need to set it up with the next software release, which is next week.

I posted a comment on one of the articles on the blog asking which Buzztimer had their 15-year old daughter write that article for them.
Disjointed mindless pap; and that describes the better ones.
Those blogs are clearly being written by people whose idea of creative writing is turning the post-it note upside-down.

Isn't having a Buzztime forum to ask questions like this and get them answered quickly great?
