I can't believe not a single SIQ player complained about one question from Sunday. The first question; This person has coached in the NBA for 3 years? Fine and Dandy: Erik Spoelstra. But, the follow up was the most ridiculous question I have ever had to answer; What country was his mother born? Are you f'ing kidding me? Really, we have to now know where the parents of athletes/coaches are born.. This type of question and the stupid spelling round are the main reasons why I hardly play this game anymore...

The dude never played in the NBA, so he only became famous after the Big Three in Miami did their thing.

Most pathetic question EVER!!!

Oh yeah, congrats to CA and Rib House. I will always be an afterthought in this game, because of 1 round, the spelling round.

I agree completely. Extremely inappropriate question. I have to say as well that I have been disappointed in many of the "And 1" questions. They could do a much better job with those. This was an example of one of the worst however.

As regards the spelling round I definitely sympathize with those thoughts as well. My spelling skills are actually pretty good and I typically will get around 45 in that round, oftens times a 48, and I even did a 50.0 one time. Having said that though I dont think it's a fair round, and wouldnt mind seeing the format changed to something more appropriate, even though it would likely cost me in the rankings. There is a definite disconnect between sports knowledge and an ability to score well in that round.

I've argued it before and I will again, the necessity to be able to spell is not exactly showing of Sports Trivia knowledge, sure, but the uniqueness of the round is what makes it great to me. No other round in any game can you not know the answer immediately, or have no idea, but use logic to try and figure out the answer and get as much partial credit as possible.

Although maybe I only like it because I get about 47 points in it every week.

All 3 follow up questions sucked this week, I don't remember the other two but I do remember missing all three of them.

The other "And 1" questions this week: Going into this season Michael Vick had exactly how many TD passes. The other one was : Clay Bucholz is from what state?

These are at least Sports questions, but no one really knows this stuff. THey almost always come down to a guessing game. I did get both of these (guesses), but missed the Spoelstra follwo up one. I jsut think they could do a much better job with the follow up questions.
