As of now, I've made no plans for another WVBTO, because BO hurt my feelings about them not being bashes.

Psst, FLY ... if you don't tell Sandy that there's no official WVBTO, maybe I could still convince JETS and SPIEGS to head out there for a weekend anyway. :D It just couldn't be the same weekend as the Apple Blossom Festival.

Diane and I are in if you decide to have a WVBTO 5. I liked the Morgantown location last year. However, I'll leave the site selection to you or your evil twin Botfly. Just let us know.

When do y'all want to come to Bridgeport? Dan is managing again (from WVBTO I) and can hook us up with discount rooms for the weekend. All I need is a head's up as to when y'all want to head over to Hillbillyville.

If any one else wants to head over, I'm sure that I'd be able get y'all a discounted room, too.

TOLLE????

Ill let you know if anything comes of this, Charles.

I think Rick was going to talk to Chuck & Jason about heading west. I'm around most weekends.

FWIW--I had quite the weird dream about Triviapalooza last night. I took place in a bowling alley/ice cream parlor...EGADS!!!

Did you bowl a turkey or what Tiefly? Western Bowl sounds good right now...

I've drank some Turkey...EGADS!!!

I used to bowl, but haven't in nearly a decade, but after watching the clip on ESPN of the bowler falling in the gutter, I figure I'm on the PBA Tour. After all, I've fallen in many gutters. :)

It's a sure sign that you're splitting your answers way too much when you're dreaming of banana and 7-10 splits

A gathering at one of the bowl alleys that has BT could be quite interesting....

There is a place at Penn State that has buzztime inside an all-in-one bar/bowling alley/ice cream parlor/hotel. (Could be a good place for an all-in-one-stop bash  ). Unfortunately, the bar is sealed off from the bowling alley...so while you can see the bowling lanes while playing trivia, you can't bowl between questions. Likewise, you can't play trivia between throws on the alley.

About a decade ago, I was traveling somewhere along New Jersey / Delaware / Maryland and stumbled into a bowling lanes that actually had buzztime. We walked in, and of course, nobody was playing trivia. (We ended up playing trivia at a regular bar a couple miles down the street instead). But at this place, trivia was on in viewable site of the lanes...so it looked like you could very well bowl between trivia questions. I wish I could remember the name of the place, although I doubt said place still carries buzztime now...

Well one the top BT places in Missouri is Cave Springs Lanes in St Peters, MO in the St Louis Metro area. Heard in the NTN heyday that St Clair Bowl in Fairview Hgts, IL (also in the St Louis area) had Buzztime before.

There was a bowling alley in Springfield, IL that had BT several years back. They use to get up on the boards fairly often.

A few years back, I made an attempt at meeting up with HAQQER at the Woodside Lanes in Fort Naples. Thanks to an over-capacity crowd coming out of New York, I was one bus behind the whole way to Florida, and ended up missing him

It also sucked because I had planned on spending that morning swimming in the warm Gulf waters, then waddling along Davis Boulevard to check out two of the residential side streets -- Arctic Circle and Antarctic Circle. What a photo op that would have been!

Damn, that's the weekend of the RCNA convention, which is in Calgary this year. Being it is the pinnacle event of Canadian numismatics, and I am a newly-minted (pun intended) member of the host club's executive, I really ought to be there

However, the LICD group is still hammering out the date for this year's meet, which will be in Atlantic City. Most people are looking for a meet in or near June, though, so it looks like unless we choose July 12-15 for our meet, I will not be attending Triviapalooza
