Spring Trivia Open???

With Triviapalooza IV in the books, since TIEFLY said to others that there might not be a WVBTO in 2012, I wonder if there will a new locale for the Spring Trivia Open or Triviapalooza will be the only major gathering event.

Well There are other places that can hold one of these events. St Louis, Houston, Orange, CA or Las Vegas even (hadda add that, LEWSER...LOL)

So tell me your opinions on this.

Great place and I'm there several times a year. Only problem is that there's a dozen things I'd rather do there than play trivia. Just ask LEWSER how often he's able to drag me out for a night.

Houston and LA are ideal bash locations because of the amount of local top-notch players. It would be fun to arrange another actual bash..... by invitation only.

We're always willing to host at Stewart's in Delaware, but I won't commit or do the legwork again until I know that the other big events aren't happening for whatever reason and I'm sure that there's interest.

With that caveat, we're always game.

That was definitely a blast this past weekend and there are more than a few I'm sorry I didn't get around to saying hi to while they were there. Always good to see so many friends in one place and just have a great time. It'd be nice if there were a spring trivia bash as I'm already looking forward to the next one.

I agree BO, I would go to either for sure. Concert Pub could be the spot. Brandy, Calvin n PROZAC could be top notch hosts there...Danny K's can host one as long we call it an "Invitational" not A BASH. I agree that we can invite people who you think can play great in SIX, Spotlight n Playback.

It's not a meet... those of us from the old Buzztime message board hold the term "meet" very close to our hearts and really don't like it being thrown around willy-nilly by you newfangled Scaratings punks. The term "meet" dates back to late last decade and really couldn't be duplicated by anyone ever again.

That being said... TIEFLY has said for at least the last couple of years he wasn't doing it again and I still seem to remember making a roadtrip to West By God Virginia every year.

Well, maybe what appears in the title might work.

"Open" also has the favorite attribute of needing only four keystrokes to process, unlike that godawful, horribly long "Triviapalooza".

I guess what i saw and read, maybe Mezzanine Lounge in Houston, TX could be the place for the spring bash. I see there a hotel near it (which is vital for a bash).

I wouldn't mind go there for the spring bash.

Remember three major criteria of find a site...size for 100, 40 playmakers (NTN can give em more) and a hotel must be walking distance.
