Gauging interest in having a bash here in Baltimore sometime in May 2014. It would be at the Stained Glass Pub in Elkridge, MD. There is a Best Western hotel right next door; we should be able to get discounted rates from the hotel. I'm trying to avoid conflicts with TIEFLY's and TOLLE's events so that's why I picked May. But other dates may work too. Please let me know your thoughts.

If TTLPKG makes it from the DC area it's a bash, otherwise no.

I might come. Don't know what my schedule looks like that far out, though.

I'll be over.

BTW--I have no plans to organize anything ever again. Hurts my head.

Hmmm. TIE, if that's true, then I can expand the dates into April. I was trying to avoid conflict with any potential WVBTO. Plus, I received a message that May isn't a good time for some folks due to HS / College graduations, which I understand. Still need to determine a date.

OK, the list so far is:
JETS
TIEFLY
TOLLE
ZEBRA
PMAN (Strong Maybe)
LUREED (Liked it on FB; assuming he's attending)
NICO (another assumption, because her and LUREED are like Peas and Carrots)
RANGER (a possible)
TANAKA (another possible depending on date)
GOGETEM
GUTZ
BUD
OPIEE
PENGWN
BRANDYB
CLAVIN
CLIPPR
INATIF
BIGDOG

As for singing, I can be persuaded :)

I also have a charity that we can do a 50/50 for. Need to get more info on that.

I'm interested, put me down as a maybe. Gutz has relatives in the area, so that's a good reason. :D

Nice idea Chucky...we haven't been able to get to WV in a while so this would be good.

OPIEE and I should be able to make it depending on the date...almost a year from now.

We've been to that Stained Glass Pub in Elkridge a few times. Decent size, near highways and BWI airport.
Big enough inside but it's not huge. Great pizza among other above average food items on the menu.

I think they have 20 boxes and 1 or 2 tvs always on BT. The bartenders always seem to be very helpful to BT players.

A Total Package appearance could be arranged...so it would be a bash. So does that mean BO might show up?

Count me as a possible maybe. Sounds like a nice idea for a week away

Does this mean you're giving up drinking, too? :o

I don't know if CHEESE plans to continue on next year in Cincinnati, but 2013 will be my final Triviapalooza.

Not surprising, given recent posts, but sad news.

I've cut down, but drinking really doesn't require too much organization...except buying Saturday night for Sunday's breakfast...daggone Blue Laws prohibit Sunday sales until 1:00 PM...and the likker stores are closed all day!

That would would be great Pete, haven't seen you since the great Chicago BASH of 2004. Now that was a good one. (that you organized)

The Best Western Elkridge next to the bar has a free shuttle to BWI airport so that would help anyone flying in.

Baltimore, home of The Wire.

One of my favorite shows of all time, which is/was actually shown in sociology and criminology classes.

I'll see if I can make it from Cleveland, aiiight?

I need to change jobs by then. I excel at what I do and where I do it, but my employer generally inhales large cylindrical objects with great vigor.

So, change me from "definite" to "possible" for the B-more bash. I'd love to join everyone in my Buzztime "extended family" as soon as possible.
