Before the collectivist cliques chortle be aware I am using the word idiot in its original Greek sense as in those who do not wish to take part in a shared public lifestyle. Yes it's time to do another solo challenge! When: The Ides of March of course - 3/15 4-7pm Central Who: All who can and will play a block of games with no assistance either human or otherwise - individuals Where: A BT location of your choice where such play is feasible Why: Competition for no real reason. The idiopathic imbroglio. What: Usual rules. Play all 6 CD games solo one handle as designate for individual game and overall recognition if you win How: PM me or post here with handle you will use and home bar (you don't need to play there, I just need to know how to find you to scrape the scores). Please pass along to any potentially interested parties you may know who do not visit the site. Thank you. |

Hmmm... I think I'm in! I'll be at Espresso in Gloucester. tay -- I used to play at Grumpy's about 20 years ago, when I lived in Milford. I stopped in there a couple of years ago, and they had long ago dropped NTN -- but the bartender still remembered my name and what I drank... not bad after more than 10 years away... Uno's was built while I lived there -- I only played there once or twice. My original handle was GEODUK -- so if you remember me, remind me who you are! |

Thanks much Pengwn - great work Incidentally I will be leaving for a trip to the Philippines the morning after this about 9:30. I'll only be able to scrape those whose bars report out efficiently and have the scores updated before I leave. I'll catch the stragglers the following weekend. |

I did not put it together when I first replied, but we are beginning our St. Patrick's festivities on Saturday, so there will be live music and shitloads of people at Stewart's. Even if I could get out early as I'd planned (which I cannot), I think it would be impossible to play. I regrettably remove myself from the list. On the bright side for me, there will be some Midleton Very Rare. Have fun! |

TIEFLY takes top honors followed by me then MEGUMI, who also won the most individual games (2). D MOB takes the nod for highest score, with yours truly the only other to break 14000. If I missed or erred it will need to wait a week before I fix it I'm afraid. Enjoy!

Found 'em... 12,283 14,161 12,091 13,151 12,062 11,369 Average: 12,520 The pattern is clear: loosening up with beer during first round, followed by relaxed playing and a good score, then the dreaded Food Handicap, score rises a bit when the meal is done, and then beer takes its toll. |
