Well, hell. Safe travels to all making the trip this year. Image

And, a permanent pox on whomever it was at NTN Buzztime that concocted the godawful, horrible FSPLIT. Image In addition to all of the other negative effects, the FSPLIT has sucked most if not all of the fun out of events like this for those of us stuck on the other side. Image There is lil if any point dragging my poor tired lil old grumpy ass out anywhere in Horribly Site-Poor Southern California for a competing gathering for at most 2.5 hours of network wide play, especially when the premium game is excluded. Or you could just attend the darn thing.
Everybody knows that you've got nothing but spare time and chiseled good looks to get you through your day...
Lucky grumpy bastard...

I agree what Spotes said. There are about lots of sites within 20 minutes of Bargos you could visit. Besides, the more the merrier

Well, hell. Since the last time I bothered to drag my poor tired lil old grumpy ass on a plane and had a godawful, horrible experience on the return flight, it is extremely unlikely that I will ever fly again. Also, I have lil if any desire to drive the present or any future liljol vehicle more than eight to ten hours away from NTN Buzztime's Site-Poor Backyard. :(

All of the above makes it unlikely that I will ever attend a Triviapalooza unless it should by some strange circumstance be held in accordance with the foregoing requirements. Given that there is probably no existing NTN Buzztime site within those distances that is capable and/or willing to host an event of this magnitude, so much for that idea.

Okay folks. We are trying to get a grasp on who and how many are coming, plus I need information for badges.

Sorry to bother you, but would you please pm me on scaratings or message me on Facebook (Patti Lambe Summerlin). The information I need is your REAL NAME, HANDLE and PRIMARY BAR (including city).

I REALLY appreciate it and can't wait to see everyone!
Patti

I'll be driving down from Detroit. Not sure if I'll be there in time for Six, but I should be.

I just posted this on Facebook because someone requested it, but for those not on Facebook and are curious...

Update...I am working on the badges right now (I still could use name, handle and location from some folks) and my projection is that this is going to be the biggest, by far. I have AT LEAST 32 CONFIRMED NEW travelers.

The Baahston crew ( SAKIC, BEACHY, SMARTR, BADGER) will be there Wednesday...flying into Dayton early afternoon. Sakic figured the earlier we got rid of Smartr's jet lag, the better...

The ever-dangerous Big Blue will not make its way from Cleveland this year, but never fear, brother TIEFLY, Old Leghumper can be purchased at Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati. Have one or three for me!

To phrase it in Southern terms, I'll miss all y'all this year!

Well, sadly I have cancelled my reservation within stumbling distance. If anyone is looking for a king with fridge and microwave one just freed up at the LQ.

Y'all have a great time, and I'll be looking for all my friends at Bargos that I have and haven't met yet on the boards.
