The last time I was in there, the bar had about 20 boards, but I'm sure KITT will arrange for more. There are pool tables and . . . I can't remember if there are machines.

Big horseshoe bar and four-tops.

There's a kitchen and they have really good tacos.

I'm not sure which hotels KITT is arranging.

Phil's is 7.3 miles or 31 minutes from Midway Airport and 14.3 miles, or 32 minutes, from O'Hare as of traffic right now, at 6:05 PM on a Thursday.

Thanks for sharing that, especially for those of us that aren't on Facebook. I think I have been to five or so of the first 11; may be time to saddle up for another.

Here is a link showing @ 20 motels near Brookfield to aid you in your search. A few of them are "ahem" of lower quality. If you are driving many of these will suit your purposes. If you're flying & looking to use public transportation I would recommend looking at motels/hotels just off the BNSF line which Phil's Sports Bar & Grill is just kitty-corner from the Brookfield station. The trains operate roughly from opening @11 am to @ midnight in either direction.

We finally have a Hotel! It’s only 2/3s of a mile from TP12. It’s the Rhodeway Inn located at 8640 Ogden Ave in Lyons IL. I reserved 15 rooms including 7 with two beds and 8 with one bed. All are non-smoking as the entire hotel is non-smoking.
Prices are as follows: Room with 2 queen beds $97.90 tax included
Room with 1 King bed $92.40 tax included
There are Suites available with Jacuzzi for $119.90 tax included
How to reserve: Call the hotel Tuesday through Saturday from 7AM- 3PM and ask for Stacy. The phone is 708-447-6363. If Stacy is not on duty for some reason you should ask for Maggie who is there 10AM- 3PM.
Use the phrase Trivia Palooza when reserving. If they can’t find the account use the group account number 3735554.

These prices are only good until June 1st, 2019 and are only for the dates of triviapalooza July 18-21 (Th, Fri, Sat nights).

I think you mean one week from this Thursday. I will be there Wed, Jul 17, staying at Roadway Inn which is less than a mile from Phils. I may drive up to Teasers if I get there early enough (to watch the maestros in action). Look forward to seeing you again, and for a change we got a decent headliner for Playback, album covers. Looks like several from Dayton/Cincy may show up..

I was wondering if anyone would be playing there anytime. We are actually staying closer to Walsh's than Phil's so will try to make it there Friday night.

To the rest of us watching the leaderboards, Palooza losing every game to the Palooza-spin off group kind of feels like we're reading baseball spring training scores. Palooza (SS) 6, California 3.

Of course the one difference is baseball split squad teams usually lose their games since they're at half force.

If buzztime survives for Palooza 13, perhaps next year's destination should be at a site-poor location.

LILJOL might be able to offer some recommendations :lol:

Looks like 40 or so boxes at Phil's and 17 at Walsh's for Spotlight.

How bad is the lag at Phil's? Is Tiefly actually there or someone playing his name? Ahhh, registered at Danny K's and nice pic so not him.

What's going on there?

BWW Gaithersburg MD (split squad, KEN K and ISSUES are at TP12) will be at Stained Glass Pub tonight. Shooting for a win. :roll:
