Fall Solo Fest

Time is running out for a Fall Solo Fest. I guess we need to pick a date & then get out and play.

Next weekend works well for me, but it might be too short of notice to get the usual suspects rounded up.

About any Saturday works for me, since the steelhead run up in Erie is fairly sparse this year. Besides, there are three sites up there and I'll be limited out or wore out by 4:00 anyway.

I'm heading over to Winchester after work, so I meant the 13th. Now looking at the 20th.

I would think that would be enough time to allow folks to clear their agendas.

We might be able to use the "buddy' app to gather the data.

EXECELLENT but I work on the 13th and got a B-Day Party set up at a non-buzztime site on the 20th.

So #1WOLF will not participate.

What are the general rules on these solofests? My fella and I would like to play in the next one, but we would play at the same bar and would promise to not share answers....but I know that's just the honour system. Not sure if that's allowed though to have two players at one site. Thanks.

It is allowed. BT Trivia addicts are honorable people. Your word that you are playing solo will be more than enough.

The games start @ 4:00 East coast time. All games count through and including the 7:00 CD game.

Will the 20th work for everyone (except Mitch...must be a full moon thing)?

Sorry...I can't commit to the 20th until college football times are released for that day (usually the Monday before the Saturday games). I didn't realize y'all played so early

I guess this goes for the rest of November Saturdays for me as well. I host an alumni get-together on Saturdays at a non-BT bar, and sometimes my games are over by 1pm Pacific Time but sometimes not.

I also believe I can subject myself to a pummelling of unprecedented proportions on that weekend. The fetching Mrs. TNC has a Christmas shopping trip scheduled with her sisters, thus I should have nothing better to do than finish near the bottom of a solo-fest competition. Will enjoy every minute of it though!!

I thought the last few times we started at 4:30 ET to get an extra countdown (i.e., 4 Countdowns and 4 BTs). So, the competition ran from 4:30-7:30 ET.

Thought I'd bump this to see if there is anyone else interest in a SPOTES (I HATE that guy!) beat down on the 20th.
