A pleasant surprise at my lunch at Applebee's Capital Circle in Tallahassee, FL was a
15-question game at 2:00 PM. Oh yeah the Richmond race in tonight I remember. It's been five years or so since I last played. How many questions can you ask about tonight and last week's Kansas race? I learned 11 is the winningest Sprint Car number (Denny Hamlin and Ned Jarrett come to mind), The estimated crowd last week at Kansas was 75,000, the Richmond surface is asphalt, Ford last won Richmond in 2005, a fact repeated after Kyle Busch's win last night, and my claim to fame, Harry Gant, an acquaintance of mine, was the oldest Cup Driver to win a race (51 when he won Richmond in 1991). Harry is from Taylorsville, N.C. and I graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1969.
