I'll be in LA for my second attempt at the interview portion of jeopardy auditions (this time for college Jeopardy). I fly back home Sunday night but will have most of the afternoon/evening free, so any of you So-Cal-ers want to play Sports IQ that day, I could. West LA would be ideal for me but not a big deal if I would have to go elsewhere.

I'll be in Palm Springs that weekend and week on vacation. Not exactly in the neighborhood of LA to be sure. Last year I played downtown Palm Springs at Hunters, which interestingly enough is a gay bar. Not a bad experience at all though. Was definitely Ok. This year I see on the site finder a couple other options other than that, so I might check those out, but I would go back to Hunters if I had to.

FWIW, the most visible site in the area, Toucans, is also a rainbow bar.

It was great to have a visit from JETHRO at the Tavern on Main in El Segundo yesterday. That kid is really something at Sports IQ...and we should all expect to see him on the Jeopardy! College Tournament next year (let's hope).
