I have never heard of the island of Roatan. But I would like to check out Herby's

Been to Roatan many times. Nice combination of locals and expats. Some good restaurants in French Harbor on the east end. IMHO, the best hidden scuba destination in the Caribbean. Got hit hard by Hurricane Mitch a few years ago. Literally stripped every tree off the island of Guanaja in 1998 (about 10 miles east of Roatan).

Nice to know GIANT's still alive somewhere in Central America. Or at least, was still alive last February. He was one of Melrose Café's leading players until he left to pursue business interests in Honduras about five years ago
