Orlando FL November 29?

Hi all--

I will be in Orlando FL area on Tuesday, November 29 and looking for a place to play Showdown.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

The 29th is a Tuesday, so I checked premium games on the Buzztime site for sites that played Showdown in Florida. The only place with a pulse in the Orlando area was Buffalo Wild Wings in Kissimmee. Kissimmee is on the south side of I-4 by Disney World.

I did see the site in Kissimmee; I was just curious if anyone knew anything about them or any other teams nearby. (like "open to visitors," "Borg," or other notes of interest.)

I played there a few year back. Jesse still winters there from Lenexa KS I believe, but this is probably to early for his snowbirding.

The people who had been playing there the past few weeks either no-showed or moved someplace else this week, so I wound up playing solo. The BWW staff didn't know much about trivia or the group that had been there.

The location was convenient (I'm working at the Swan near Epcot), just outside the Disney complex. The traffic was surprisingly light in both directions. The restaurant itself appears to be brand-new and sports a sign in the bar saying "opened 2016."

Food and drinks, well, it's a BWW. Say no more.

There is a BWW just east of the Disney complex where I played a lunchtime game that looks more established and has a lot more trivia activity, from the sight of it. I wonder if maybe your friend plays there? (The BWW-Formosa is just WEST of All Things Mouse and the whole area looks like a relatively recent development.)
