my wife (jenane) and i (idjt) just returned from our road trip that included stops in chicago and albuquerque. one of the purposes of the trip was to visit our friends and rivals at walsh's in chicago and bww-gibson in albuquerque. both places were very welcoming. it was great to see merkin and blzbub and duff again, but it was wonderful to meet their teammates as well. thursday six turned out to be a success in both locations as they both won the nights i was was there. little thanks to me to be sure, but i do hope to bring those winning ways back to west park station this thursday. thanks again to both locations for visits that were full of fun and interesting conversations. |
