Thanks so much to JOHNL, KRISPY, WANYE, BOGEY, TRONTO, DSHBAG*, Janet, Tommy, all of the other players at B-52s and the Bungalow Inn, and especially GONE D for a wonderful welcome and a weekend of trivia. I had a great time and we put up some good scores. And I was on the leaderboard with LILJOL for the first time! (Of course, my alter-ego IVY showed up again as DEMON.) I hope to be back again soon, and I'll shoot for a Tuesday so I can go to Tailgate. You guys are awesome. GYPSY *Yes, we did order him a vinegar and water. |

By all means you should play Showdown at the Tailgate. My Showdown group hasn't seen a Buzztime tourist in 15 years, not since GRIFF played with a very different gathering of eccentrics at the Sportsbarn in Eagan. If you return to Minnesota for Showdown, please arrive in time for Monday afternoon Countdown. Neither KRISPY nor JOHNL play Showdown, but if you were to pass through town without hugging them, they shall stare at me balefully until I crumble into dust. |
