Glad you could make it, Jim. GYPSY had told us in advance that we were in for a treat, and she was right.

Readers of this thread might be amused by one or two details coming out of Thursday Six.

MERKIN put one of his accounts in 1st place for the second night in a row, the first time, Wednesday, playing solo. Huzzah!!! Although I'm not sure anyone is much surprised.

At the first game break in Thursday Six, IDJIT's phone started vibrating. It was one of his comrades-in-arms at West Park Station. The Buzztime server at WPS had crapped out at the beginning of Six, with the result that they missed all, or nearly all, of the Warm-Up Round. We were feeling sorry for them, until the results were posted. Spotting us all 2,000 points at the beginning of the quiz, they more or less ran the rest of it for a #1 site score.

How humiliating! West Park Station gave everyone a head start. Apparently it wasn't big enough.

It was a pleasure to meet you Jim. Hopefully the noise from the Vikings game and fans wasn't too distracting.

When I went to West Park Station, we were one table in the middle of a raucous fundraiser. We had to yell our answers across the table and I really liked it. Got the adrenaline going.
