Danny Ks has their Showdown team on Tuesday. The earliest arrivals are usually there by 4:30. I don't play there on Tuesdays anymore, I play at Pineapple Hill in Tustin.

We usually play only on Tuesdays and sometime Wednesdays. I'm not trying to discourage you, but we never rank and there are only 10 boxes. On the plus side, the food is decent and service is good.

We usually play 8 boxes among the 4 of us. If someone else shows up, we may give them one if the game hasn't started. I'm sure that you are aware of the lockout in premium games once the game has started. Another player can log on, but their score doesn't show.

Sometimes we are seen in other games, but rarely in Showdown. Either way, if El Puko decides to visit, he is certainly welcome here. Yes, I have met him before, both in SoCal and Wichita.

I have found that if you hit "menu then enter" during or after the 1st question the new player's score will show & count for the rest of the game. They may miss the 1st question but that's it.

Yes, that was pretty much the case, as it usually is. Our idea of a successful game is to crack the top 100 in showdown.
