I'll be moving to Chicago after Thanksgiving and looking for a new home.

I prefer to play solo, but I do enjoy playing team STC on Mondays.

I'll be working in the Addison area.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome to the Chicago Metro Area. There are loads of BT Trivia sites in the Chicago area to chose from and at most of them you will be playing solo whether you want to or not. I assume since you will be working in The Addison area you will be living in the Western or Northwestern suburbs. Addison is not far from Diamond Lill's in Roselle. Busiest Trivia night is Tuesday followed by Friday and Saturday and an occasional Thursday. Diamond Lill's is basically a team bar especially on Tuesday. You are very welcome to join us. We can always use an extra brain. The BWW in Elmhurst is also close to Addison. They have teams playing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and occasionally Monday for STC.

STC in the Chicago area is not as popular as it was 5 years or more ago. It is not played seriously at Diamond Lill's or any of the bars in my vicinity. Teasers is probably the best place to go for Team STC. However you might find one or two STC players at any Trivia bar. My home site, Time Out West in Hanover Park, has one dedicated STC player who would probably team up with you.
