Was looking for a site in Quakerstown-Norristown strip in PA (preferably nonsmoking if anyone can still help) and it looks like some time since I last searched on it a couple months ago the reviews have been removed and disabled. Yet again BT shows that they do not really want player to player communication and information. With very few exceptions (why some people take it personally that someone else doesn't like their bar I have no idea) the reviews were generally free of their stated problems with player access and, while they ran the gamut from useless to detailed and invaluable, I always used them to usually good effect. I tried to make my own detailed and useful, honest without being abusive OR effusive, and inevitably containing some good point even when I had to think hard to come up with one. I was far from alone. Anyone know of any other possible reason beyond shutting down open communication this could have happened (after all they deleted any abusive ones, quite rightly, anyway)? Couldn't see another thread on this with a quick search. Sorry if I missed it.
Oh and they took off the miles distance column too for some reason.
In Quakerstown, there is a site that I played at frequently when I worked at a golf course up there. The site is called Hobo's. When I was last there, they had some connectivity issues. There was always some one playing. The player that was fairly good was a college professor who played under the handle Xerxes.
Back then (4 years ago), it had a non-smoking area.
