I'd like to offer my (not so) sincere congrats to RICHEK!! Yesterday, Nov. 1st, he got perfect 7000 Lunchtime scores at 8 different bars. I think 5 of them are in the Chicago area where he (maybe) lives. When I grow up I want to be like him!! RAY J. |

But not at Teasers. Simply block remote play at any bar you do not want interference from his scummy presence. |

There are a few side effects to blocking remote play. It means players actually in the bar can’t use their phones, iPads or anything. The app is shut off for that location for everyone. Buzztime boxes only, so you better have a good supply of new boxes. Also the bar is removed from the sitefinder as that’s how the app gets it’s list of bars. So no more visitors finding the bar on the sitefinder and stopping by. The bar will be invisible. Bar owners won’t like that loss of players. Other local players won’t see the bar listed anymore and won’t try to visit. Make sure the manager knows all the side effects before going invisible. |

I’m talking about a visitor going to the BT website and putting Chicago IL into the location search. If I don’t know what bars have closed or might still be open in Chicago and I don’t see Teasers I’m not going looking for them. I’ll go visit the ones that do show. Same with putting a NW Chicago zip code in, say 60631, no Teasers again. So they are invisible to the casual visitor looking at the website and of course the app doesn’t show them either. If you know you are looking for Teasers they do come up by a name Search but not in a general location search. |

If you type in "Chicago, IL" in the site locator, Teaser's does not show up, but if you then click "View map," Teaser's will be shown and listed. |

Brian's history indicates he is a Crosstown only player of modest scores who got a difficult last question right. Has not played anyplace else in his history. I will ask around with YYZ and other Crosstown honest players when I see them and continue to monitor. In the meantime, ding dong, the with is dead! Oh frabjous day, he chortled in his joy, to mix the literary metaphor! Maybe Teasers and the other three bars that canned the app will consider bringing it back. |

Really good sign that BT finally did something about the cheating. Maybe Lynden/Fjbidn will be next. He keeps coming up with new handles to rotate around, unlike Richek. Richek may be gone but keep a watch for a new handle with low points suddenly doing very well around IL or his other handle Spidey taking over the cheating spoils. So far Spidey has stayed at Crosstown. He probably got the warning email from BT as some of the P+ whores did awhile back. Let’s hope Brian got lucky on Spotlight which of course isn’t on the app. It was noticeably odd coming from that bar. |

This thread explains a lot. Richek and Spidey mysteriously showed up on Angry Pepper's board for the first time in November. Late November Richek played here and got a perfect 15,000, only to find out that we locals had already filled the board with 15Ks. LOL I logged in at Crosstown and put up a few high scores. I see that Crosstown has now cut off playing from the app. If that was due to me I apologise to the legit players at Crosstown. I just wanted to mess with Richek. YYZ comes to Angry Pepper when he's here in St Petersburg (everybody is welcome!). He's a good player. I'll have to ask him about this next time he's in town. We also have some strange things going on at Angry Pepper. A few months back MEZZMO suddenly became the top scoring player, even though MEZZMO has never set foot here. Apparently he transferred his points here but they only showed up on Angry Pepper's profile on the BT website -- MEZZMO didn't appear on our local board. . Then one of the Primetime players that come over in person the first of each month (and then are not seen again until the next month) logged in as MEZZMO for one game and VOILA his points appeared. Personally, I could care less who's at the top of our local board and don't mind going head to head with Richek/Spidey, cause I think I can beat them even if they cheat. BTW, we filled up our countdown board with 15K's by December 6!!! I swear there was no cheating, and even very little answer sharing as we rarely have more than 2-3 players. There were just an unusually high number of games where we never had to guess a single question and a few more where we guessed right. |

Hi Lumpy, good to see up back on here. You should pop in more often, never know what you might find out about. I’m pretty sure Richek/Spidey was the reason Crosstown has blocked app play there. (Like several in the Chicago area) Probably at BT’s urging to end his shit. As for Mezzmo, the local P+ board only updates when someone plays in person on a box/tablet, never updates playing the app. But the website does as you said. Next up, ending Lynden/Fjbidn’s similar lag cheating mostly on Playback, Six and CD. Hope to get back to St Pete Beach one day. |

One of them logged in for one game as MEZZMO, so he now shows up the local leader board as our top player. So, turnabout being fair play, I've logged in at Primetime a few times and have the top few scores there on Lunchtime and Countdown |

Well.......Richek is back to his old tricks. Didn't take long for him to tell Buzztime to fuck off. He's back starting over with a new Richek handle. Last night Spidey was playing at Walsh's (600 on topix) while Richek was logged into the old folks home, Harborchase IL. (12,200 on topix) There is no way he was there in person and probably not at Walsh's either. Richek got a perfect on Tuned In from the old folks home as well. Crossroads has turned off the app as far I know. Buzztime needs to delete his Spidey account and the new Richek too. |

Richek is scum and was not at Walsh's last night or anytime I have been there, Most Chiago area places have shut off the app. There is no consensus on doing this at Walsh's, mainly due to the fear that unreliable boards will force the players there onto their phones/I-pads. Buzztime need to act against both his boards. |
