Nothing more than a mashup of my name and my wife's (Mike + Donna). The first time I ever found/heard of NTN, we were in a bar checking out a band. When I saw some kind of trivia game up on a TV screen, I was immediately hooked. But what to call myself? I decided to give my wife equal billing, just to stay on her good side. Had a couple of good games that night, met some new friends, and decided to stick with it ("it" meaning all of the game, the ID, and the bar). Now, she rarely if ever comes down there with me anymore - no more bands, and she just isn't all that much into trivia. However...speaking of "staying on her good side"...if you ever do see the two of us together on a board, don't ever ask "What does 'Mick-DNA' mean?" You will immediately hear a woman's snarling voice informing you of exactly what it does stand for... |
