tiefly comes from tying my own flies for fly-fishing, something I was really into at the time. BOTFLY came about due to the regular players at the now defunct Pargos, Winchester, VA, playing DIEFLY, KILFLY, SHUFLY handles. I wanted the handle to be BLOFLY, such as the insect that shows up first at dead bodies (not to be confused with the coffin fly), but BT nixed that handle. However, BOTFLY, a cute little insect that leaves it's larvae under the skin of its host to feed off of, seemed to fit fine, seeing how I apparently had gotten under their collective skin. |

I have wondered about that ever since being unfortunate enough to come across a "Botfly removal" video on YouTube. My wife was so disgusted by it that she was gagging! Meanwhile, I was pondering the Tiefly/Botfly connection! |

How many beverages does it take before the transformation from Tiefly to Botfly begins? I've been told there are similarities to the incredible hulk, especially when trying to communicate. I've also heard that some, who participate in your "special" beverage, actually DO turn green! Very quickly. |

I've only heard stories, but I bet its a sight to behold...LOL. Steve Card and FrankC have each described it to me. It sounds hilarious. According to my lawyer, SPIEGS, all stories are "alledged" to have happened. The best part of a blackout is plausible denial. |

Plus, "we" arrived Thursday afternoon, fueled by Aquafina bottles that had been liberated of that evil neutral spirit...WATER!!! |

tie, you really ought'a kick BOTFLY to the curb. Look, I've never met him, but it sounds like he's some juvenile enabler who's always getting your butt into trouble. And has he EVER given you a answer that you didn't already know yourself? Everyone I've heard from says he's a Sandbagging S.O.B. He's holding you back. You can do better. Seriously. -wonk (who has numerous imaginary friends himself, esp. in the St. Louis metro area) |

That's a fine looking set up. Yes, BOTFLY is a sandbagging piece o' crap. But he does buy a round now and then. (Unlike SPOTES...EGADS!!!) |
