Baxters suddenly shuts down

I arrived at my home bar b4 open today to find out that it is closed for good.

Signs says "Baxters is Closed. Thank You for Your Patronage."

For now my home bar is The Edge til there is a new site near me. I won't trust Hooters and/or BWW for team play. Schatzes is never a team play site.

Obviously they couldn't deal with La Russa retiring.

For the past few months, on any given day, half the beer taps were dry - seems they were ALWAYS out of Stag! I guess the distributor demanded cash on the barrel head. The place looked packed for Game 7, though usually it would be nearly empty but for the six or so regular trivia players. Mitch, I'm sorry for you and your team mates, but the owner was a dick; to hear that he failed does not sadden me. Hopefully a new owner will take it over and keep BT for you.

Maybe Big Daddy's in Downtown Belleville or Applebee's in Swansea, IL can get NTN in the future.
