Kirk's officially closed Tuesday 7/2. We were there on Monday for smartest bar and they broke the news. The grape vine says they will reopen at another location under a different name. More when I find out.

Hmm, I wonder if they are anticipating the hit in business they would take from construction of the light rail?

The Light "Fail" was a part of the decision making, but not the major factor.

OK, I stand slightly corrected on the first post. Kirk's has been open a few days off and on since I posted about it closing. Although no open every day. I found out they are trying to sell of inventory before they close permanently.
