A local player has told me that Bobby D's in Lake Forest, CA has closed its doors. It was a good place to play trivia, but was crowded up to closing time. The karaoke singing was probably one of the best in the area, also the drinks were strong and reasonably priced. The staff were also friendly and the rumor is that it will reopen at a later date in a new location. Whether trivia will be offered is uncertain. They will be missed.

ANY reason why they closed?....is like St. Louis Sports Zone when it was forced out to put a Wal-Mart in place?

Yes it was Prime Time and I visited it then too. I assume as it is expected to relocate elsewhere, that the lease was the problem. That area has been built up quite a bit and certainy lease rates will adjust accordingly.
