No More B's

Mr. B's in Los Alamitos, CA is closed and a new restaurant called 'Pikes' will be opening there tomorrow. There is no listing for either site in Los Alamitos so it doesn't look good. The reputation of the new business doesn't look good for trivia either. I'm assuming that it's gone. If I find out otherwise, I will update with the info.

On a side note: Draft Picks Sports Club in La Mirada, CA has removed the game some time ago, but it's still listed. I'm just trying to save potential players from wasting time by going there.

You beat me to it Bobby...a very sad day as another piece of SoCal Buzztime history has vanished(with Mr. B's, Yankee Doodles, and National-Torrance all gone, Shannon's is the only area trivia stronghold from the 90s still operating)...sad on a personal level for me as Mr. B's was the 1st location I started playing at regularly, the place where I learned the "team" concept, and where I first encountered my good friend Dave Sr. the guy who would soon be known to many as MR ALE(though at that time he was calling himself BLKNIT)...

Well, hell. In recent years I'd drag my poor tired lil old grumpy ass to Mr. B's every few months or so to meet up with GAMBIT, GOGETM, MR ALE and others. Great times, probably never to be duplicated again. :cry:

I can't speak for the others but we plan to visit your area a few times per year. If I can get the other one to stop shopping as much, we can play more trivia. :lol:
