We were informed last week that 8th Street Grill in Minneapolis is dropping NTN trivia at the end of the month. I can't say I'm surprised. Whereas there was a once a good sized group of players that played nearly every weekday that core group has long since moved on. Except for those of us who pretty much only come in on Tuesdays for Showdown the boards rarely get used.

This leaves absolutely nowhere in downtown Minneapolis with NTN trivia. At one time there were, I believe, four bars that had it.

A couple of team members were trying to get commitment for us to choose a different home bar, but at this point that feels unlikely. It's probably the end of our Showdown team. Personally, I'll transfer my P+ points, probably to BWW - Stadium Village, but I won't play very often.

Buzztime's stated goal was expanding to 10,000 sites, but it sure seems like it's going in the opposite direction :(

This is terrible news, I am so sorry to hear it. I hope your team is able to find a new place.

If not, Tailgate Sports Cafe has a good team. I don't know how long a drive that is from downtown, though.

I'm sorry to see this. OI've played at 8th St. several times, but not recently.

Lately, I've stayed in the MOA area when in town for U volleyball matches. You guys might consider BWW MOA. They have a strong player, Scout, and are very convenient by light rail.
