Closed for good last Thursday. The owner wanted to retire, and sold the place to an out-of-town buyer. He was hoping to stay open for another three months, but completely bungled the confidentiality of the transaction, and all his staff quit the moment the sale went through. We have gone from four sites to just one in an 18 month period. Only a BWW is left, and it is not conveniently located for many players. It is also a site that sees no need to incentivize trivia play, or even pay any attention to it. I expect most of our team to scatter to various local pub trivias, unless another local site acquires Buzztime. There is little to no chance the new restaurant that will take Sinclair's place will have trivia; it's doubtful whether or not they'll even be able to open. Other places in the area don't want the competition, and they have proven very effective at stalling liquor licenses for any new place that wants to open in the Cloverdale district. TFM |

I see Toots and Goblue still have Sinclairs as there home site. Looks like they have played even less than I over the last 6 months. |
