I didn't think I'd ever see it, but the new tablets are there ready to play. For the last few months, we were down to three good boxes. Buzztime told management that the only thing they could do was upgrade and and corporate told them that the price was too high. Apparently there was some negotiations that resulted in a deal being made for 10 tablets (1 year trial). Now, we need to get more people to play... |

That is great news.Yes,the trivia players need to be persistent.They also need to play at these places so the owners see a return on their investment.So, yes encourage others to play trivia.Best case scenario is they play regularly. The other thing is get friends and family to join you.They do not even have to play trivia,but you can enjoy the socialization.This will also help the owner get a return on the investment.One thing I know for sure.You cannot force people to play.Set up the environment ,make it positive and then see what happens. |

The tablets will be the final death of Buzztime. They record answers more slowly than the old boxes, and they break easily. We had a team playing Wednesdays at BWW-Forest Hills (NY) and we were down to one good tablet box when we stopped playing. The management was so poor that they didn't care about getting the tablets fixed. XTrain |
