Well, hell.
Today, on a day off from banging away at Buzztime, this lil old grump returned to the site where he had spent many weekdays banging away before they discontinued, JT's Tavern. After chatting for a while with the veteran bartender, she informed me that Redwing Bar & Grill had also discontinued recently. 
Redwing may be a rainbow/LGBT bar, but their staff and management never had any issue with this lil old grump making an occasional visit. Their kitchen still serves up some great food, including a pot roast melt.
So, The Site-Poor Backyard becomes even more Site-Poorer.
