Thank ye, thank ye. I don't know if I'll play there again next week or not. The parking was horrendous down there, and it was really hard to get service before 9 o'clock (1 server for about 80 people), but we'll see. As always, was a team effort.

I would vote no on the highlands. Parking is stupid if you come in after 6. I suggested to Scar that we try a different location each week until we found one that would work. Of course Dante would be in charge of making sure everyone knows what location each week. I would start with Bungalow Joes, Granville Inn, Wings and Rings and Old Chicago. I would toss out Sports and Social because of parking. Not a big fan of paying to park every week. Plus any big events downtown like derby week would force us to play somewhere else.

Sports and Social... I park in the fifth street garage behind fourth street live and parking is free after six, so that wouldn't be a problem for me if we ever wanted to try that.

B Eric also suggested last night that Bdubs St. Matthews could be a compromise /centrally located option.

Parking is free unless there is a ballgame that night. There are home games on 1-5, 1-19, 1-26, 2-5 and 3-2. Also, I don't believe Sports and Social is going to put trivia on during the Louisville games.

Just turned 29. I have the balding pattern of a 50 year old, so it's particularly funny for me when I get carded.

Hey, guys I heard from Cloudy that Joe's closed....I had heard back in August, I think, that they might make it, if they lasted until the football & basketball seasons....but I guess it didn't help much....

In any case, let me know where you guys end up when (or if) I visit this summer......

I have been working the semi-bald look for a couple of years, but have since been working on my Matt Snell look (about 4 weeks or so, if my beard was white I could win a Santa Claus contest) for St. Louis in about 6 weeks...

I am 37, fuck I am now, officially old...

For a white beard, try Hair Club for Men's little brush thing. It certainly works for the opposite. :)

I'm willing to go anywhere that has acceptable parking (re: no parallel parking required).

That's fine. I don't parallel park. I've successfully done it once in my life, which was during my driving test. I consider parallel parking to be a sign that you haven't worked hard enough to afford a cab. :)

Well you can buy one of those cars that will parallel park for you.

About as I suspected. Close to college local hangout, limited decor, reasonable prices, good hamburger, whiff of chlorine bleach in the air.

I imagine at night there are some young lovelies to look at; lunch was pretty male.

I was not a fan, mainly because I absolutely cannot stand the smell of bleach. Might be worth checking out for lunch, though, if you're in the area.

Bleach? What are you, a girl? I went on a week night. NO BLEACH. Great drink prices, but did not order food. Glad to hear it was good. Scar is right, fair amount of college age women at night. Worth the trip, but I will not visit unless in the area. Too far from home base for me to play on a regular basis. Got to remember it is a neighborhood place so don't expect much in the way of decor. Plenty of tables and flat screens. Trivia on 3 screens when I was there and that is always a good sign that they are trying to promote Buzztime.

I'd go there if I was in the area, also.
