Well. hell. THE ICEMAN got the location of the most recent addition to The University of California system - the Merced campus was founded 2005. Their mascot is a Golden Bobcat. :shock:

So if there are 15 consecutine dashes to a telegram, it is either part of the word "bottommost" or the message is garbled.

The codes for M, O, and T are nothing but dashes.

So, I guess the record would be either
(1) most consecutive dashes within a single word [15], or
(2) most consecutive "dashes-only" letters in a word [7].

The most recent US President to have a county named for him is Warren G. Harding, and that county is Harding County in New Mexico. (There is also a Harding County in South Dakota but it's not named for the former President.)

I have no idea, but from this clue I'm guessing it has something to do with Columbo--maybe the fact that no one knew what his first name was? I'm not sure how that gets to the Supreme Court, though.
