Who were the first two one term U.S. presidents? The question sounds dumb, but the answer is acutally pretty interesting. |

Who were the only two First Ladies, who never lived in the White House? (There is a close third, who misses out because of a technicality.) |

Here is an interesting trivia question.... The glorious 28-week Presidency of James Garfield was first class all the way. His assassin Charles Guiteau put tremendous thought into selecting the precise firearm he would use to shoot the President: a .44 Webley British Bulldog with an elegant silver handle. Why was Guiteau so careful about choosing his weapon? |

Why was Guiteau so careful about choosing his weapon? I believe that it had something to do with posterity, his legacy, that sort of thing. Chuck suffered from, among other things, a narcissistic personality disorder. Or maybe he just liked pretty guns. It could go either way... If it's something other than that, I'm always willing to learn. |
