This came up in live trivia this past week. Nobody got all eight but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the sports trivia folks here know all of them.
Eight MLB players have had their uniform numbers retired by more than one major league team for which they played. Name them.
(Bonus: This specific wording disqualifies Jackie Robinson, whose #42 has been retired by every team, as he only played for the Dodgers. It also eliminates one other person. Who?)
Without googling...I would say Hank Aaron, Nolan Ryan, Reggie Jackson, Greg Maddux, Carlton Fisk....hmmm, Rod Carew? A good question.
Wish we got some sports-related multiple answer-type questions in the live trivia we play every other week. We only get one per game, and it's the last question. Usually rather tough, too. It cost us the game two weeks ago.
