Like cricket, it is a genteel British game

Sounds like...

Sorry, ICEMAN, the game's name sounds nothing like "Oompa-Loompa Woman" :D

TIEFLY's potted the correct answer! (okay, with an assist from ICEMAN)

I have nothing ready so, Mr. Fly... It's all yours. 8-)

I got nothing either, but here goes:

While I was driving to work today, I was listening to Dave Alvin's album 11/11. What is special about the song, "What's Up With Your Brother"?

I was an avid fan of Combat. I think it was Frank Gorshen.

Incorrect, Frank only appeared in two episodes during seasons two and three.

The person I'm looking for was a member on the squad for eight episodes of first season.

As a tidbit Ted Knight appeared in several episodes as German Officers in different seasons. :geek:

Well, I looked this one up so I won't give it away... interesting. I have a vague memory of him in that role.
In looking over who appeared on the show over the years I found one that was a bit surprising - Rocky Marciano.
 8-)

Without looking things up, I'll take a guess: Don Rickles.

First of all, I DQ myself as I had already looked up the answer. However, (if I'm not mistaken) this actor, in a role on another movie said:

You flunked flank? Get the flunk out of here!

Good try but no cigar.

This question is five days old. I wonder if everyone has looked up the answer without wanting to post it!

So I'll post the answer that I looked up. If I'm right, this forum will be open to whomever has a trivia question. If I'm wrong then perhaps a hint from Death Dealer is in order.

I think the answer is Shecky Greene.

I guess with the lack of activity on this thread, I wanted to see another question posted. Or a least a pulse. (Not "The Pulse". A pulse.)

One of the original thread rules was to try to have questions resolved after 48 hours. While every other rule has been superseded, I still think that after 48 hours, questions should be answered, or a new question posted.

Or at the very least, a hint.

As I said, if my answer is correct, then it's an open thread. Otherwise, at least I tried to put a little life in this thread, and evidently without success.

Your correct. I usually only get to check this site when babysiting, Pentagon servers block this site as agaming site.
