What on earth is a Flamadiddle?

It's a drum rudiment.

If my memory serves correctly, a four-stroke paradiddle (L R L L or R L R R) that begins with a flam tap (r-L R L L or l-R L R R)
If my memory doesn't serve correctly, it's time for me to review a few of those basics

Something topical: what song peaked at #97 on the Billboard Hot 100 on December 20, 1969?

(Acceptable are the single version actually on the chart, or the "killer" long, live version from a couple of years before)

Well done, ZOG :)

Alice's Rock n' Roll Restaurant was the single, derived from that Thanksgiving tradition, Alice's Restaurant Massacree

Turns out this year was the 50th anniversary of Arlo Guthrie's littering citation, too

Sorry for taking so long, but just had a mental block.

In 1922, Edmond Bouchard played for the Montréal Canadiens. What is his claim to fame?

I read about this while reading a sports magazine in my doctor's office this past November. Edmond Bouchard played for the Canadiens that year and was the first to wear #13 in a game. (There are a fair number of players wearing #13 nowadays.)

Anyway, the floor is open to anyone with a question.

Interesting aspect of his name is the Before and after

We all know of the inventor of electricity, and his pic on the $100 bill that coined the phrase "All About the Benjamins"

Franklin Pierce was the 14th President of the United States

WELL DONE MUDEE... You got the floor

Early in the MASH series there was a character Maj. Gen. Bartford Hamilton Steele in one episode that was played by what actor that would later come back in a different roll in the series?
