I'd never heard of Tuxedo Park. Nor did I know that "tuxedo" comes from Native American. I guess I can see it now.

I put "fedora," which you eagle-eyed readers may note came from France, not New York.

But at least it was from about the same time, and Pierre Lorillard IV is a French name.

So it wasn't my worst wrong answer. By far. (Unfortunately.)

A couple hours before sunset, on a dry day, I decided to assay Magazine Mtn in my jogging shoes. I made it about 300 yards before the sunlight tilted in such a direction that every thirty feet or so I could visually perceive what I had already felt. There were, with nearly mathematical precision, spiderwebs flung across the path. The webs were easily a yard across, and spun by girls the size and color of chili beans. I immediately gave up the game, but the welts left on me didn't disappear for a month.

I would recommend hunkering down in Excelsior Springs. Spectacular vistas of the Black River, the Ozark park system, and some fine spelunking as well. Just don't go jogging near sunset.
