I will start with a movie.

Post facts about a movie and see if anyone can guess what the movie is.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This movie was filmed mostly in Mesa AZ.

It was filmed in the 80's.

Starred Kurt Russell

One of the characters name was Roy L. Fuchs (one of the best movie character names ever in my opinion)

Can I just add more stuff instead of answering?
I believe the character named Fuchs was so named to be in honor of a real person whose career was very much related to the setting of the movie. Not necessarily named just to be cute about dancing around one of Carlin's dirty words.

I worked with the production crew on that movie & met the actor that played Roy Fuchs, Jack Warden, a helluva nice guy. Kurt Russell... not so much.

Sure, the more facts the better.

Iceman, thats a cool piece of history there. 8-)

The famous car jumping the train scene was done at the Florence junction crossing. The water tank that was there has now been removed.

The Landmark Restaurant is still in business, and can be seen in several shots in the movie.

Wow, umm, I am suddenly realizing that there are apparently TWO movies starring Kurt Russell that have a character named Fuchs! (and the one I wrote about is the "other" one!)

The movie has to be "Used Cars".

We have a Winner! 8-)

The dealership used for Roy Fuch's car lot is the Darner Chrysler dealership that closed a few years ago, but the building is still there. The car lot across the street that was Luke Fuch's lot was razed and is now apartment buildings.

Your turn Frank.

That movie was great fun! Though it had me turned off of red cars for a while... :)

Loved Grandpa Munster as a judge :)

And I guess we're all big fans of "Yellow Primer".

Lenny and Squiggy were the Jay and Silent Bob of their era.

What Oscar winning best motion picture had no dialogue spoken by a woman? (The silent films do not count.)

It took me awhile to come up with a movie question that was not really not obscure. Which movie stared Anthony Perkins, Dorothy McGuire, and Gary Cooper? It is one of my favorites.

Which letter keeps appearing and disappearing in the background of "Xanadu"?

This is an easy one. I've got a 1 in 26 shot at guessing it right, and I think I might nail it, after multiple wrong guesses. (There have been worse odds.)

Let's start with the letter "Q"? :?

No .

Hint: It occurs very time they are at the Auditorium.

Well then... Image

In "Terminator II: Judgement Day", Linda Hamilton is involved in two godawful, horrible movie flubs. Name either one.

How about "King Kong Lives"...?

p.s. None of the "King Kong" movies since the original 1933 film have been worth watching, with the possible exception of the 2005 "King Kong" movie that Jack Black was in.

I think LJ is looking for errors in T2, Cloudy, not necessarily Linda's bad career choices. I do agree with your assessment of King Kong Lives being a movie flub, however.
I took the liberty of correcting your post as well.
You're welcome.
