2nd week in a row stupid pop music and pulp lit have ruined this once decent respite from the sea of repetitive movie and music shite. Would it KILL BT to give us ONE unsullied trivia game?

I'm starting a therapy group for BT players that actually play trivia. It can be held any time except between 7 and 730c on Tuesdays.

I wish you were right but even bb long since succumbed. Admittedly they try to pick "serious" pop culture and Citizen Kane is more worthy of intellectual respect than Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure but that is like saying I am a better breakdancer.than Robert Earl Hughes.

So you're saying that all games are now just dust in the wind? Dust. Wind. Dude.

Ummm... might I suggest using either Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure or Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, Afe.
Did I miss the subtlety of you illustrating your grasp on this sort of material?

And I would imagine that Bob broke quite a few things when he danced.
Like, fault lines...

Hey gimme a break - I'm lucky to have gotten Citizen Kane right..

Anyway now you have to be nicer to me given I am a fellow Indiana resident (having lived in St. Louis too, I will refrain from applying the H word to myself or others)

With few exceptions yep. I wish I had kept the response from about 8-10 years ago when I first complained about the rising dominance of PT claptrap. They suggested I play BB and SD which "are completely free from such content". Yeah, OK.....

Really what's left when all the general knowledge games, regardless of purported level, are becoming more and more dominated by jejune minutiae about what is spewed onto screens and airwaves to entertain slack-jawed passive mobs? Lexitopia isn't really trivia. I enjoy it, but it's a different animal entirely. Occasionally we'll get a Thursday Topix where the writer can restrain themselves from asking about a song or movie loosely concerning the subject (strangely, Playback writers never seem to do the reverse - "So and so got a gold record for Such and Such. What is gold's atomic number?" to my knowledge has never been seen). Pains me to admit it but probably the little-played Sports games are all that remain, and they delve into such pointless arcana to be no fun for a normal sports watcher who eschews almanacs and historical records.
