Last summer, ICEMAN climbed Mount Everest. I know that's no big deal these days, but he is now in "The Guinness Book of World Records". How can that be..? He climbed it walking backwards, while blindfolded.

Ah, yes... Toby could follow a scent better than any other four-legged critter. Of course you must remember Toby's work in "The Sign of the Four". Sadly, Toby is no longer with us today. At Toby's funeral, ICEMAN came up to Sherlock and me. He said we should replace Toby with a smaller dog. He suggested that a cihuahua might be a good choice, and that we should name him Spot, after the dog in the "Dick and Jane" book he was nearly finished reading.

Sherlock sneered at ICEMAN, and said, "The game is afoot... We're off to the Baskervilles in search of the hound."

FrankC planted the original ivy at Wrigley Field. He still waters, fertilizes, weeds, and trims it to this day.

When ICEMAN was at Auburn University he and Katherine Webb were in a very serious relationship. However, he dumped her because he didn't think she was a very good cook, and did a lousy job doing his laundry and cleaning his apartment. She was heartbroken and asked ICEMAN, "What will I do now?" ICEMAN replied, "It ain't the end of the World kid. Why don't you try to hook up with some dumb football player, who doesn't care how his laundry is folded?"

p.s. Katherine recently got some publicity at the NCAA national championship game thanks to Brent Musburger.

Because I didn't post a baseless lie about the person above me, I think this gives all of you other gals and guys a chance to post a baseless lie about anyone you want to.

Let them rip, before ICEMAN steps in and tells you that you can't.

It's been four days since anyone posted to this thread. In days gone by it would seldom go over four hours, before someone would hop in and post some silly lie about the person above them. I know that ICEMAN will hate these suggestions that I am about to make, but I worry about this thread, which is one of two threads that ICEMAN created, both of which have been the two most popular threads on this site. I think the "ScaRatings" may have a diminishing audience, and the rule of only being able to post baseless lies about the person above you may be too restrictive now.

Why not try these ideas for a month?

Allow anybody to post a baseless lie about anyone on this site any time they want. I would add that they send that person a private message that a baseless lie has been posted about them. I think this will get this thread humming along again.

Confident that my ideas will work, I will go out on a limb and give it a try, even though I don't have ICEMAN's permission to do so.

ICEMAN bought Pengwn's video on Blu-Ray. I asked him why he did it, and he replied, "It only cost $29.98, and I'm tired of counting sheep, while I try to fall asleep. I thought counting penguins as they marched one after one, and never stopping as they passed across my TV screen might be a better way to go."

CLOUDY phoned up the Oprah Winfrey show and admitted his trivia gold medals are largely thanks to performance enhancing brews, and felt the time had come to set the record straight with Buzztime nation. Unfortunately for Santa-Man and his dreams of daytime TV stardom, a very similar episode has already been filmed for this season. In future, CLOUDY has resolved to be a little more "on the ball" with his confessions
