Ding, ding, ding! Millard Fillmore is indeed the answer.

Fillmore was actually a fairly admirable figure, at least early in his career. Born in very humble circumstances (according to some accounts, it was in a maple syrup trough) in Upstate New York, he nevertheless taught himself to read and write while working in a factory as a child, read law, and went into politics, losing only one election before becoming President. As a Congressman, he developed such a good reputation that when he decided to retire to private practice, John Quincy Adams wrote, "I hope and trust he will soon return (to public office) for whether to the nation or to the state, no service can be or ever will be rendered by a more able or a more faithful public servant."

Of course there was his later acceptance of the Know-Nothing Party nomination for President, which is less than admirable, and he was a harsh critic of Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War. But on the other hand, he also late in life turned down an honorary degree from Oxford University, stating that no one should accept a diploma he cannot read (the diploma was in Latin).

Last President's Day they were interviewing Millard Fillmore's biographer and he said he hoped that Millard Fillmore would end up as one of the five worst presidents where the biographer thought was his rightful place.

My question is what First Lady was known as "Lemonade Lucy" (due to her aversion to having alcohol served in the White House)?

Speaking of Lucy, In the original discussions of the premise for I Love Lucy, the couple was going to portray an already-successful showbiz couple, but the idea was tossed out in favor of the struggling young bandleader and ditzy wife they became.

What were the character names of that showbiz couple?

What is the lowest score (both teams) that (1) never was the final score of an NFL game, (2) is a theoretically possible NFL score, (3) involves both teams scoring an odd number of points, and (4) is not a tie score.

As an aside, I've read that in Canadian football, touchdowns counted as five points until 1956, when they became six points. Given the one-point single in Canadian football, any score would be theoretically possible, including a 1-1 tie.

In the U.S., college football has counted touchdowns as six points since 1912, and to the best of my scant knowledge, that has always been the case in the NFL.
