Well, hell. While waiting this past Sunday for Lunchtime Trivia to start, I decided to try whacking away at PrePlay.
To put it mildly, PrePlay is not QB1. The first significant takeaway is that players can no longer predict the direction of plays. Further, at 3rd & 4th downs, players can only choose 1st Down and Stop. The distances for runs and passes have also changed, and my increasingly decrepit, fragile lil mind can't remember what they were. For whatever reason(s), additional predictions are added for PATs, results of drives, and starting position after kickoffs.
Maybe it's more than a lil appropriate that the logo for PrePlay on the helmet is PP.
