New Scaratings

Since Thur there have been no game scores or rankings shown in the tablet and blue box bars. The BT website is showing no activity at any of these bars.

The streaming no box bars seem to be the only ones reporting completely and they are seeing rankings with the box bars included. The online next day rankings are only showing the no box bars.

Fri was still the same, no rankings. We will shortly see about Sat.

Buzztime is aware and told me they are working on a resolution. Though a bar owner was told there is no ETA on that fix.

I know BT is no longer supporting the blue box bar equipment. My main bar, Stained Glass Pub Silver Spring MD had the computer die in July and instead of replacing it as was done about every 2 years or so they were sent the new no box streaming package which does not work with the bar internet. It won’t stay connected where the blue box system ran fine. So we are done for good after 35 years it looks like. Buzztime has been trying to help fix the situation but the owner has given up.

Let’s hope this outage is not planned as part of the switch away from blue boxes and BT tablets.

Does anyone know if Friday’s games were repeats or new? Topix or Spotlight or even the countdowns?

Wondering if it’s even worth going anywhere for Playback tonight.

There has been some recovery by Buzztime: results and HOF from Saturday's games have posted, as have Tuned In/ Immortal Words.
Nothing more for Thursday Six, Topix or Spotlight yet.

There appears to have been regression: Sunday scores have not registered at old-style locations. No correction of Thursday Six/Topix HOF either.

Buzztime sent a message saying the rankings problem has been fixed. So we will see how that goes tonight. No idea if the past HOF rankings will be updated.

Anyone playing now 6:00 on Tues?

I did hear from a player that rankings are now good at a tablet bar. Also they were playing on the phone app and you can now scroll through top 20 bars and top 20 players. Not sure what you see at the no box bars regarding top 20.

Started playing at 6:00 last night at Time-Out West. Was surprised to see the rankings & top 20 scores show up after the game.
Looks like everything is back to normal??

It was, and is, just top 10.

We also have our own set of quirks. We suffered an extra-bizarre one last night during Six. Final round, history. One device worked normally, the other eleven didn't. Those stalled showing the question, then showed it for a few seconds, then moved on crediting 0 points even if you answered the question. We've seen that before on individual devices, but never on a bunch of them together. Wouldn't have won anyway, but if/when everyone shifts over to this, there will be more of this.

We have seen that at Walsh’s, but never on more than two boxes at a time, out of 7-10

The problem I reported yesterday got worse last night. Marathon Round this time, starting with a history question. This time, people didn't see the question at all before the game moved on to the next category. The first time, a majority of devices were affected but about four worked normally. The same thing repeated itself three more times in the round, with all devices being affected.

Walsh's has reported the same problem to a lesser degree. Have any other locations had this problem?
