When I made the first review of the tablets (in 2013) one bug report was of that significant delay between the monitor and the tablet. In that time it has not been fixed nor any suggestions for improving player experience on the tablets addressed which has been more than irritating. And if the app indeed matches the monitor, if they don't bring the tablet up to speed after all these years......

We had delay issues up the wazoo last night with the tablets. Everything worked fine up through the 6:30pm game. Then starting with the next game, with 8 tablets in play, at least one or two tablets scored a 0 on each question. It happened to a different tablet each time. The problem got progressively worse after that, as there were times that only one or two tablets got points on a question while the rest of the tablets got zero.
The owner rebooted the system during the 8:00pm game, but it didn't fix the problem.
To demonstrate just how bad the lag was...
When you logged in, it would take up to a minute to get the "I thought I recognized you" screen.
Then it would take another minute to accept the password. Sometimes, the lag was so bad that the password failed due timing out & it suggested to play as a guest instead.
During the # round of Playback (I don't even know why we were still bothering to play at this point since it was worthless) when you get 1000 if you hit the answer on the first go round, and 250 if you get it on the second go around... There were times when we hit the answer for 1000 and still only got 250. Also times when we hit an incorrect answer on the first go round, hit the correct answer in the second go round for 250, only to still get -250 since the lag didn't recognize the change in time.
The final question was quite comical. I figured it would accept the wager, then not register the answer, and a bunch of boards would lose 50%. Instead the problem occurred on the wager screen itself. Only three boards took a wager, everyone else got a 0 wager. What a night.
